Do I have to be registered with the GDC?
Yes, you must hold a valid registration with the GDC to enrol on the course.

How much is the course?
Each day session is £300, to book the whole 5 course in advance costs £1,250.

How much hands on is there?
The sessions have been designed as a mixture of Lecture, Seminar and practical components. Each day has at least 2 practical components.

I have no experience of oral surgery, is that a problem?
The Sessions have been designed at the level of a General Dental Practitioner with an interest in furthering their skills in Tier one of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
A qualified practitioner does not need any previous experience of oral surgery to attend the course.

How many CPD points will I receive?
On completion of each session, in accordance with the enhanced CPD guidance, the participant will receive 6 CPD points. Successful completion of the whole course would cover 30 CPD points.

What systems are we using?
We use multiple systems for a broad range of experience with UK based suppliers. These include DentsplySirona, Geistlich, Hu-Friedy, Osteocare and W&H. Their websites can be linked to through the ‘about us’ page on the website.

What do I need to bring for the course?
You will need to bring a scrub top and a set of safety goggles for the practical components.

What is covered in the course fees?
The fees cover the lectures and all equipment. Teas, coffee and lunch are also included.
