Stuart graduated from Newcastle Dental School in 2003 and has worked through NHS, Independent and Private dentistry in general practice in both the North East of England and New Zealand.
He has worked at Coxhoe Dental Practice since 2010 where he currently provides general dentistry including dental implants and surgical exodontia.
He is clinical lead for Stage 3 BDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Newcastle Dental Hospital and is involved in the clinical training and examination of 3rd, 4th and 5th BDS students. Stuart is also a regular speaker for OMFS for Health Education North East.
Michael Hicks BDS Hons, MFDS RCSEd, PG DIP (Implant)
Michael Qualified from the University of Manchester in 2012 having achieved his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours. After completing his foundation training in 2013, he worked for two years in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and was granted membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He now devotes his time between oral surgery and general dentistry in practice, and teaching oral surgery in Newcastle Dental School. In addition to this Michael is a regular speaker in OMFS for Health Education North East.
Michael is an award winning dentist and has won prizes in his foundation and dental core training. He was a commended finalist at the 2018 Dental Awards for Young Dentist of the Year - North and Central.
